Meet the Team
Since his election in 1997 Mike's commitment has been to serving the people of Batley and Spen. There is no better indication of this than the team he has built up in the constituency office which responds and deals with the hundreds of queries and problems Mike receives from constituents each week. In addition the office receives the help of a team of volunteers.
All his staff are based in the constituency both to help improve Mike's accessibility and contribute to the local economy.
Mike Wood provides his staff in the constituency office with a Fairtrade alternative to mainstream brands of products such as tea and coffee.
Look out for the FAIRTRADE Mark on packaging on a range of products such as tea, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, honey, biscuits, fresh fruit and juices available in most supermarkets and some independent stores.
